Thailand provides hope for another international rescue cooperation.

The whole world has become familiar with the incredibly difficult rescue action of the 12 football boys and their coach in the cave.

The Thailand cave is so narrow and cramped in many places and so full of water when it’s rainy season like now, that without the help of the Thai authorities, volunteers and international specialists, – they would never get out of it again.

Thailand, –  a country of smile, determination and spirituality.

Thailand is a country famous for having people with a lot of smile, dignity and spirituality. It is also a modern country in many ways, not least on the medical field. The story of the football team caught in the narrow cave, is drawn here, as an amazing example of human cooperation of the best kind.

Contributions as well as from local, national, and international rescuing staffs, even Buddhist monks and press, have joined their forces in CHIANG RAI, north of THAILAND.

There is something strongly symbolic about the cave or grotto as a concept. It holds a long history of associations.

Cave paintings from Lascaux, France. (from Radio Weblog)

In prehistoric times we survived by searching shelter in caves and grottos, as they are called in Europe. Early people even lived in many of them. The 30,000-year-old cave paintings in Lascaux in France and Altamira in Spain testify this.

Much later, about 380 B.C, the philosopher Plato wrote his famous cave parable in his book “The State”.

Caught in a cave on a global scale.

We humans are globally also caught in a cave where habits, lifestyle, politics, trade, money flow and capitalism keep us in there, while the water constantly rises.

Soon it will be hopeless to come out, if not everyone cooperates. To get us out before we drown, collaboration must both be local and national. But to find the best solutions of an international problem, we need global efforts as well, reminding ourselves that we have managed very well to work globally with trade cooperation for over thousand years. There have been no limits to it, until recently.

And for the present, we need free flow of problem solvers, specialists, organizers, common people of all ages, and politicians. People with iron strength that are willing to make every effort to get us out of the cave before it’s too late.

Very difficult rescue operation.(from Aftenposten)

Misjudging the danger

The football team of 12 boys with their coach, they misjudged how dangerous the cave was. They found it seemed so interesting and exciting. When they finally realized they were locked in, it was too late to get out of it by themselves. They were totally in need of help from the outside.

“Here we are!Help us!” This could have been the 12 boys and heir coach’s crying out for assistance. The painting of hands, however, are made by prehistoric humans in the Lascaux cave in France.(from Information)

Fortunately they functioned as a wonderful team, also inside the cave in captivity. And their coach must be a very special  young Thai! He managed to keep up their spirits and strengthen their psychology from collapsing,  when all seemed dark, and know one new if they still were alive, let alone could be rescued. The team itself and their rescuers ought to be our models for cooperation, the same as their attitude: Don’t panic, keep calm, and take every necessary precaution when the operation is carried through!

Eventually rescued and saved and treated in a very good Thai hospital.(abcnews.go.com)

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and their experts on global environment, have calculated the risk of escalating irreversible environmental crisis. They have seriously determined how dangerous we live, if we just continue to waste the natural resources as before.

We now know that the panel of research experts all over the world, are having the solution to our captivity in the cave of our habit of consumption. Let’s give them a chance to save us. Then you and I must only support politicians and international state leaders that allow companies that take climate responsibility to control the world economy. In the next few years, we will know whether we still can paint people and animal motifs on our modern cave walls, or if it’s more appropriate to paint the devil on the wall!

Politicians and state leaders can help saving us from irreversible global climate change. If they and their voters realize that we are already like captives in a dangerous cave. (here The King of Spain and Queen, with other notabilities in the Altamira cave. (El Pais)

My meeting with Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in the Kremlin, Moscow.

(Когда я встретил Владимира Путина и Трампа в Кремле.)

In front of NATO’s meeting in Brussels Wednesday  July 11.

(Перед встречей НАТО в Брюсселе в среду, 11 июля.)

The NATO’s official Symbol

One week ago, I was in Moscow, Russia. I had a tourist visa and joined a group of international tourists in to the museal parts of the Kremlin.

Always interested in the construction of buildings, I jumped out of my group. This time to inspect some interesting arch technical details on the walls of a dark and long corridor in the Kremlin. At the end of the corridor, there was a wall, with a small door in it. I opened the door and entered a spectacular hall full of light and gold.

With the door half open I could just jump back to my sightseeing group after this little expedition I thought. But the door locked itself behind me and I was trapped in this highly lit part of the buildings behind the Kremlin Walls.

When the big doors of pure gold was opened, I recognized who it was. (source: pic-for-2)

Then suddenly two guards opened a big double-door, and a very recognizable person entered through it. It was Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, and after him there was a long chain of people, mostly politicians, Ambassadors and the Russian Prime Minister Medvedjev and last came President Trump with his wife Melania.

And along came prime Minister Medvedev and many invited guests.             ( illustr. photo by Klar Tale)

Putin started to greet everyone with a powerful handshake.(Illustration by forum.lowyat.net)

After shaking hands with some ministers, Putin came over to me and asked me who I was. – I represent Norway, I answered, and he looked a bit astonished. Prime Minister Medvedev smiled and nodded, – Norway’s important as our next to the Atlantic neighbour, he said. Then Putin grabbed my arm and guided me into his office for a private prep talk, before his negotiations with Trump.

Putin was very nice but impatient to hear what I had to offer.(illustration photo from: af.sputniknews.com)

– What have you to offer in this escalating armament Norway has got into with NATO and the US, he asked. – I have gathered information that 40.000 American soldiers, are going to train in Norway, very close to our borders this Autumn, he added. Foreign Minister Lavrov looked a bit austere and begged me to answer Putin’s serious question. – Well I said smiling. We have come to a fantastic solution that never occurred to us before.

Both Putin and Lavrov looked at me somewhat puzzled. I slowly walked up to Putin, and whispered in his ear. – We’re going to suggest that you join us in the Atlantic Treaty. – What, he cried out!  Do you mean the NATO Alliance? I nodded carefully, afraid that Lavrov would burst into a rage if he didn’t like the idea. Then Putin smiled the broadest smile I ever seen. – That’s a wonderful plan, he said. But we must call it NARTO, The North Atlantic and Russian Treaty Organization.

–  What about Stoltenberg? Is he into this plan, he asked. – No problem, I was quick to reply. – I live in his neighbourhood in Oslo, and he comes home from Brussel every weekend, and will accept it if Trump and you agree on it first. Besides he’s a nice guy wanting peace with as much armament he can join into his NATO forces, I added.

Anticipating the reaction of Secretary General Stoltenberg when Trump tells him about our plan.

Then Putin leaned over to Lavrov and discussed some scenarios with this NATO inclusion.

Then they called for Prime Minister Medvedev who until then had entertained the other diplomatic guest in the big reception Hall.

“This can save us from billions of rubels or dollars on the military budgets in the future. I’ve thought of it for a long while” , Putin remarked. ( illustration photo from: Dagbladet.no)

In the meantime I was asked to leave the room and go and talk to Trump about the idea of including Russia into NATO.

When I went up to Trump he was puzzled. – Why do they send a psychologist from Norway to me? – I am not insane, he said brusquely. – I want to see Prime Minister Solberg in her own person about this.

I try to inform Trump that she’s on vacation, and that she has not been invited to Moscow either.  – My God she’s lucky having a vacation! That’s more than I get!

– Listen, I said. – We have a proposal for you with a value of unprecedented dimensions to the US. Then I tell Trump about the idea of including Russia’s big army and weapon arsenal into the US Army forces and NATO’s. There is total silence for a moment.

Suddenly Trump cries out: – Do you mean annexing whole Russia to the EU and US? That’s plain fucking war, I tell you, – plain fucking war!

Do they really agree on this insane idea, Trump asks astonished.

– No. no Donald, I continues. – The idea is to include Russia and Russia’s Armed Forces and war machinery into the US’s and NATO’s Forces,  as a true and mutual member. Trump scratches his forehead. And then his face opens into a big smile as broad as Putin’s recently. – But that’s wonderful, and exactly what I wanted to propose myself!  Imagine how much money we could save by this, he adds.

See statistics of Military Forces and Army strength together with Military costs both on the US’s budget the NATO’s budget and The Russian Military budget, after the article.

– But does Putin accept the idea, he hesitates. I confirm the fact. Informing him that Putin is as concerned with saving money as Trump is. – It’s a gift from heaven to American Economy Trump says.

A gift from heaven or just simple calculation of risks? (Illustr. from CNBC.com)

Then Trump and Putin meet face to face and discusses the matter. They are both very glad and looks happier together than ever.

– Why didn’t we  join our forces long ago, Vladimir? (illustr. photo from unknown source)

After the President’s handshaking Putin summons the Ambassadors politicians, delegates and the Press in the grand Hall of Kremlin. He announces with great triumph the success of the meeting and the Joint Forces of The Republic of Russia with the United States and NATO. He praises Trump and the same does Trump with Putin when Trump enters the podium to give his speech to the audience and the world.

At that time, I am already walking down the same corridor I entered into the inner circle of the Kremlin. I give the small door in the wall a light push, and it opens immediately. Soon I retrieve my sightseeing group,  and can hear that the English talking guide tells what an important meeting is going on behind those thick walls behind us.

Some people dream about Presidents and politics, others of trips to cities like London or Moscow, or both. Others have sexual dreams or a mixture of problemsolving and sexual dreams. Some have just nightmares.

Believe me or not. My story above from the beautiful Kremlin in Moscow, was exactly the dream I had last night. It was so vivid and interesting, and I woke up sorry for it being just a naive dream.

We dream every night not only in the famous REM phase of the 5 stages of sleep. (photo: hybread.mk)

A scanning of the brains activity when we dream. (Photo: neurologist.com)

We all have dreams, some appear at daytime, as for Martin Luther-King. For the rest of us most of them occur at night.

Yes, contrary to what you may think, everyone dream a lot at night.  Statistically we have 4 to 6 dreams every night. (Domhoff The Scientific Study of Dreams (2003).

We don’t remember all our dreams, however. Many of them are forgotten during the night. Even if we wake up from a dream, and recall some interesting parts of it, it may disappear when we get up. Almost like mist in the morning sun. Dreams can be very interesting to interpret. Therefore most clinical Psychologists value dreams as an image-based bridge to our unconscious self.

In some dreams, like the one this story is about, the solution to the problem of escalating armament beetween the East and West, seem so simple. Reality has shown to be much more complex.  (see http://www.selvuniverset.com/2016/08/23/if-you-and-i-could-rule-the-world/)  Or is it possible to cut right through the difficulties and start a new era?

Some Statistics for the overly interested reader.

Directly copied and cited from  Memoriabg, translated from Bulgarian by Valentina Tzoneva exclusively for SouthFront:

“The official data for 2016 points that the Russian armed forces numbered 770,000 troops. If we added the National Guard and the Secret Armed Forces to these numbers, it brings the numbers to 1,000,000 troops supported by Russia. On the other side, right next to its borders, the neighbors of Russia have 150,000 troops. All 26 European state-members of NATO maintain an army of 2,000,000 altogether. The USA and Canada together have close to 1,400,000 troops. With this, the regular armed forces of NATO exceed the Russian army by four times.

NATO exceeds Russia in armaments: the American armed forces alone have 13,000 airplanes at their disposal, around 8,800 tanks and 41,000 armored units. To these 75 submarines, 19 aircraft carriers and more than 300 other types of warships are added.

The Americans are world leaders in military technologies. But at the direct border with Russia on the NATO side, things are different. For example, Latvia has three Russian-made tanks.

As per data from Russia, it has at its disposal 4,800 artillery and rocket launchers, 2,870 combat aircraft and 10,720 armored personnel carriers. As per the Global Firepower Index of 2015, the military air forces and other military units have at their disposal over 3,550 airplanes. The marine forces have at their disposal 200 warships and 72 submarines.

As much of the military equipment dates from the Soviet times, it is currently undergoing replacement with new ones, which will be 70% completed by 2020. Trump has proposed $681.1 billion for the year 2019.
